Chris Hewett

Chris & Martha Hewett began attending TCOG in May 2005 and soon began volunteering in the Youth Dept. They spent many trips to Winterfest and many Wednesday nights running the van to pick up and drop kids off for church. Chris began working more directly with the youth and since late 2020 the group has grown from about 5 kids to an average of about 24-25 weekly.

On January 1, 2023, Chris was given the role of TCoG Youth Pastor by Pastor Alan Greene. With his wife Martha by his side, and God as their Guide, they are making a difference in the lives of these students. Chris and Martha are head of Action Kids, Youth in Action, Sunday School class #7 as well as overseeing the other Sunday School classes and Wednesday classes.

His burden and passion is seeing students discipled and develop deep lasting relationships with Jesus Christ. The Youth In Action's mission is to be the ones that change the game! We believe that we can be the generation that changes the narrative and flips the script. We can change the atmosphere in our schools, homes and communities.

#I AM A GAME CHANGER!

Chris and Martha have 3 children: C.J. (wife Mackenzie), Hannah (husband Paul) and Kayla and a grandaughter Raelynn Hope. The Hewett family is a great help with our music and sound and working with the youth. In addition to the youth, Chris is our drummer and helps out with the sound board, C.J. is faithful to do the sound board, and Martha, Hannah and Kayla make up our Worship Team, and Mackenzie and Kayla also assist with Action Kids.
